Occasionally ranges will be closed due to special events or functions. Please refer to this page frequently to be informed of any range closures. MBSC encourages all members to participate in the events held on these days.
Please note that Town of Bourne noise ordinance DOES NOT allow for shooting
prior to 7:00 a.m. and after 9:00 pm on ANY OUTDOOR RANGE except as
permitted during hunting season.
Please note:
it is important to look at the google events calendar, during a defensive pistol/rifle event or a steel shoot all of the pistol pits are closed for those events. for an archery event, all of the pistol pits and the large rental range is closed. even if you do not see anyone on the range, it is closed for safety.
The Long Rifle Range will continue to have a delayed start time
of 12:00 NOON ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS ONLY.
On the remaining days shooting may commence at 7:00 a.m. and
continue until dusk for all members and their guests. The
delayed start time on these 2 days will continue indefinitely.
Please Note - there may be occasional closures due to ongoing
berm work or the landfill doing a cleanup of trash that may have
blown onto our property. Any "known" closures will be listed on
this website or appropriate e-blasts will be sent so please check
back often.
BE AWARE - IF THE GATE LEADING TO THIS
RANGE IS CLOSED, THE RANGE IS CLOSED.
Effective Immediately - NO PISTOL SHOOTING will be allowed on the Long Rifle
Range. Pistols can be shot outdoors on the CAS range, the pistol pit and the
Rental Range when open
